Let me quote 'Men Without Hats' "I like, when they talk real loud, try to tell you what they know. Say. I like, when it blows real hard and it doesn't even show. I like when they haven't seen a thing and try to tell you how to go. They say: It's plain to see, life is not a mystery to me. It's plain as day. Hope I got it just right anyways."
You NT's (Neurologically Typicals) are still animals unfortunetly. You jump on bandwagons, take opinions and twist them, and then argue. Others simply pretend something doesn't exist. Or take the popular side. What is an actual fact? Good question. Don't have an answer for you. No one does.
All we know is that one: Humans use petrol products and make carbon emissions. Heck even old coal and wood burning does damage, and that's been around for many a century, slowly adding up. Cars: Bad, bad, and did I mention bad? Your Air Conditioners, refrigerators used to (and older ones still do) produce heavy warming by-products. Has anyone seen Mexico city, Los Angeles, or even Christchurch (new Zealand) on a sunny day? Smog. The enviornment and how man lives in it is a factor some forget. Mexico City because it's a natural bowl that collects all the crap Humans make, LA because of the same reason, you can thank cars for that, and Christchurch because it too is a bowl that collected al the wood burning and it's only been less then 200 years.
Global warming? Maybe. Whatever the name our planet's is changing. I've travled the world these last 10 years, and everywhere I go, people say: The weather's changing. It's more extreme or different then it's ever been. From Aomori Japan, Invercargill New Zealand, Sao Paulo Brasil, Toronto Canada, Cape Town South Africa, etc. The weather has gone nutter. (Anyone notice the sheer amount record number of hurricans in the last few years hitting the US East Coast for instance?)
As others have said, rain in places where it's not normal (or in more extreme depths then ever recorded with floods), or extreme draughts in others. Colder/Hotter summers depending on your geographical region in the Northern Hemishere, and heck even colder/warmer winters in the Southern Hemisphere at the same time.
Now, don't get me wrong. Certainly not going to say we're doomed. But something is going on. Ignoring it, or naysaying is not going to help. Mother nature is going to do what's it got to do to heal, and ice ages have happened before long ago in the past. That alone is a possible 'fact'.
Just keep your mind open, and watch for all the changes. Not one thing is to blame, but there is the possbility that Humans and thier ignorance are deeply at the cause. to say otherwise is Human arrogance to boot.
